Money, Money, Money… Money!

I just recently realized, and it came as something of a shock but was only as a result of not paying attention to it all these years, that if there is even a shred of a doubt in one’s overall interest in a particular thing, that lack of interest will prove instrumental in the derailment of that endeavor.

In simple English — Don’t half-ass anything; you either do it with all of you or not at all. And, it obviously goes without saying, this axiom doesn’t apply to relatively negative things like alcoholism and drug abuse. I mean, if you try to apply the principle, it will work and even a lot more than you had initially intended it to. But that’s another conversation.

I say that because I realized that there’s nothing more fulfilling to me than physically attending to customers, in the customer service capacity. It’s more fulfilling than Marketing, at the very least, and seems to be the most fulfilling thing in the grand scheme of things.

The company held an induction program that spanned two months — nine weeks, actually, but let’s not delve into semantics — and it was one of the best professional experiences in career…
